I'm a Software Engineer at Genexus R+D team.
I don't know why F1 has never caught on in the States. I guess the target audience (commoners) see is a bit of a rich mans sport (akin to sailing).I always thought F1 was more interesting to watch than Nascar, but either one can put me to sleep.
